Nestled in the heart of the French Riviera between Nice and Monte Carlo, Cap Estel designed as a "hotel particulier" combines prestige luxury with a convivial spirit.
After its complete renovation, this beautiful property located on a 5 acre private peninsula, on the Mediterranean coast ,has become once again a haven of peace and serenity for its guests. At the end of 19th century, a Russian prince constructed his Datcha at Eze, France on a 4-acre private peninsula located between Nice and Monaco. In the 1950's the Cap Estel was developed into a luxurious hotel, welcoming celebrities from all over the world. The hotel boasts 180° views of the Mediterranean coastline, a private beach, an indoor freshwater swimming pool, an outdoor saltwater swimming pool, a heated Jacuzzi, a gymnasium, a sauna and a steam bath. Other leisure activities on offer include water sports, scuba diving and massage treatments. The medieval village of Eze is only accessible by foot. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets under stone passageways you will discover the magic of this exciting historical monument with something interesting to discover at every bend of the street. Some of its admirers attribute a quite different origin to Eze. They claim it come from Isis, th sun goddess, whose cult originating in Egypt was celebrated throughout the Mediterranean up until the Middle Ages. Narrow and steep little streets, stone buildings with turrets, loopholes, dry stone facades behind which numerous artisans work olive-wood, leather or silk according to ancestral techniques, seemingly oblivious of the modern age.
