Located in Praiano, Italy, Casa Angelina is a quiet retreat from the busy nearby towns of the Amalfi Coast. The minimalist and stark white design of the hotel compliments the blue water of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Antonino Cappiello purchased the property over ten years ago and enlisted architects Gennaro Fusco and Francesco Savarese to oversee the renovation of the 1970’s-era hotel. Inspired by the desire to create a hotel that makes guests feel as if they are visiting a friend’s beautiful home on the coast, the opening of Casa Angelina resulted in a property that embodies understated chic design and down-to-earth luxury. Each year, the hotel undergoes a series of upgrades and renovations, keeping the property feeling fresh and new. Contributing further to the sentiments of a familiar place, Cappiello’s private contemporary art collection is housed in Casa Angelina’s lobby transforming the space into a living art gallery. The 39-room property spoils guests with amenities including Jo Malone toiletries and iPad devices for use in each room during the stay. Guests also have access to the hotel’s private boat for excursions to surrounding towns or a romantic dinner on the water.
