The 215-room Park Hyatt Washington, opened June 16, 2006 was designed by Tony Chi, known for his work at NoMI at Park Hyatt Chicago and Asiate in New York, among others.
Park Hyatt Washington offers a Tea Cellar with vintage-inspired teas, a signature fragrance designed for the hotel by artisan perfumer Blaise Mautin, Shaker Furniture, and antique game boards that lend themselves to the hotel's Americana aesthetic. The hotel also features a new restaurant, Blue Duck Tavern, with menu selections that focus on fresh local ingredients.
