One of the most beautiful and elegant boutique resorts in the Caribbean, where understated glamour, discreet impeccable service, attention to detail, and warm Jamaican hospitality define the experience.
Opened in 1953 and noted for its jet-setting and sometimes royal clientele ever since, the classic Jamaican resort Round Hill has played host to distinguished guests including John and Jackie Kennedy (who honeymooned at the property in the early ‘50s), as well as Oscar Hammerstein, who is said to have written “The Sound of Music” here. The classic resort has recently launched an all-new restaurant, Grill, which features the only indoor wood-burning grill in Jamaica. Offering beautiful ocean views and direct breezes, Grill’s décor is in keeping with the classic Round Hill aesthetic of relaxed luxury. Inspired by longtime resident Ralph Lauren, the whitewashed, simple décor is accented with local Jamaican art and black and white photos, adding a touch of the local and historic to the new restaurant space.
