This historic landmark Victorian estate is considered one of the most distinguished homes of its era in Southern California. It features the elegant 1874 Victorian home, restored 1878 barn and three garden cottages. The inn does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Nearby restaurants include: Wine Cask, Downeys, Citronelle.

The Pendle Cottage English garden cottage, secluded in the inn's gardens. Features private fountain, sitting room with cozy love seat in front of wood burning fireplace, sunny upstairs loft bedroom with high ceilings and King canopy featherbed, skylights with views to the giant oak and a full kitchen. The Abbeywood, Greenwich and Plumstead Cottages have been crafted to reflect luxurious elegance. Each one opens onto a private intimate fountain courtyard where you can linger over breakfast. The cottages also feature antique canopied queen featherbeds, loveseats by wood burning fireplaces, and an in-room Jacuzzi tub for luxuriating. Teak hardwood floors complement the Oriental rugs and antique furniture.
