The Château Frontenac has seen a considerable number of exceptional events and important visits over the course of its more than 125 years of existence, and the visit of Princess Grace of Monaco remains unquestionably a defining moment in the history of the hotel. The living room offers a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence river. The Van Horne Suite pays homage to Sir Cornelius Van Horne, President of the Canadian Pacific Railway, which initiated the construction of Château Frontenac in 1893. The large circular room is very bright and offers an exceptional view of the St. Lawrence River Lévis on the other shore and the Dufferin Terrace. The spacious dining room, with its nearby kitchenette, is ideal for organizing receptions.
